ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to produce the body or person of the petitioner's husband namely Anbazhagan S/o.Maruthamuthu male aged about 53 years before this Court and set him at liberty.

2.Today, when the case was taken up for hearing, the respondent police has produced the detenu, namely, Anbazhagan, S/o.Maruthamuthu. When we enquired, he has stated that due to pressure from the creditors from whom he had borrowed money, in January 2023 he had left the house and had been residing at Chennai and during this period, he neither contacted his wife, ie., the petitioner herein as well as his two children nor returned to his native place at Trichy.

3.He would also submit that now he had realized his mistake and he will go with the petitioner and would reside with them by looking after his wife and children and insofar as the repayment of loan is concerned, he will work out and try to repay the same to his creditors. 2/4Page 2 of 4

4.The petitioner also was present before this Court and she stated that now since the detenu had come back and if he is agreeing to come with her to reside with them, she will take him. 5.Recording the said statement made by the detenu as well as the petitioner and after hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, we inclined to close this Habeas Corpus Petition, as the detenu has come and join with the petitioner. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. (R.S.K.,J.)
