O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed for a direction to the respondent to file final report in Crime No.263 of 2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is stated that based on the complaint preferred by the petitioner, a case was registered as against the accused, in Crime No.263 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 420, 468, 471, 379 (NP), 294(b) and 506(ii) I.P.C. It is further stated that though the case was registered in the year 2016, there was no further progress.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor however on instructions submitted that the delay was due to collection of documents from the petitioner himself and that therefore, three months may be given for filing Charge Sheet.

5. Recording the said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original petition is allowed and the respondent is directed to file final report in Crime No.263 of 2016 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
