ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed seeking for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the impugned

proceedings of the first respondent in 89/HRD/CA1/TNSTC/MDU/2014, dated 30.04.2014 and quash the same and consequently to direct the respondents to settle the entire terminal benefits to the petitioner with interest at the rate of 12% from 30.04.2014.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Though the writ petition is filed seeking a larger relief, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner confines the same to the extent that the representation of the petitioner may be directed to be considered by the respondents within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents has no serious objection in granting such relief to the petitioner.

5. Considering the nature of the relief now sought for by the petitioner, which has not been objected by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.07.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
