O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed for a direction to the respondent to file final report before the concerned Magistrate in Crime No.83 of 2016 pending on the file of the respondent within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3. It is stated that a case was registered in Crime No.83 of 2016 as against the petitioners for the offences under Sections 379 and 506(ii) I.P.C. It is further stated that a complaint was given by the second respondent/defacto complainant falsely, even though the petitioners did not commit any offence. It is in these circumstances, the petitioners have come forward so that the first https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent can complete the investigation and file final report before the concerned Magistrate.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor however on instructions submitted that the investigation is almost over and final report will be filed within two months.

5. Recording the said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original petition is allowed and the first respondent herein is directed to complete the investigation and to file final report before the concerned Magistrate in Crime No.83 of 2016 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
