ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition is filed to call for the entire records in respect of First Information Report in Crime No.6 of 2021 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Madurai and quash the same.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that in this case the investigation has been completed and a final report has also been filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai, in C.C.No.1901 of 2024. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication.
3. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed, with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the final report, by filing a petition seeking further investigation under Section 173(8) Cr.P.C., / 193 (9) BNSS, 2023, if not satisfied by the manner in which final report is filed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
