ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by T. S. SIVAGNANAM, J.) The writ petitioner has filed this Writ Petition, seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to restrain Masi Sivarathiri Festival conducted by 7th respondent scheduled to be held on 11.03.2021 for Sappani Muthaiah Temple situated at Veragasamuthiram Kammai, Nedukulam Road, Kumapatti Village, Watrap Taluk, Virudhunagar District who is conducting the festival without the petitioner's community or allow the community to conduct festival along with them or allow the petitioner's community to conduct festival separately on 12.03.2021. 2.Even according to the learned counsel for the petitioner Ms.M.Shobana, the festival was conducted by the petitioner on 12.03.2021.
The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that the members of the petitioner's community is not allowed to enter into the temple by some members of the other community. If such is the circumstance, the petitioner shall bring it to the notice of the fifth respondent Tahsildar by way of written representation and the Tahsildar, Watrap shall look into it and do the needful, so that peace and harmony prevail in the area.
3.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
