ORDER

The present petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to instruct the third respondent not to pressurize or coerce the petitioner to settle the false claim made by the fourth respondent in respect of the business transaction and not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 24.01.2025.

The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that there are some business transaction between the petitioner and the fourth respondent and thereby, the fourth respondent lodged a complaint before the third respondent for the business transactions. Based on the complaint, the third respondent harassed the petitioner and instructed to 2/5

settle the matter. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation, dated 24.01.2025 but the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner filed this petition.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents would submit that they received a complaint from the fourth respondent and based on the complaint, they made enquiry and the enquiry is still pending and they will complete the enquiry within one week. During the enquiry, they have not harassed the petitioner and they only called the petitioner for enquiry.

4. In view of the above said representation made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents that based on the complaint given by the fourth respondent, they called the petitioner for enquiry and they have not harassed the petitioner and also as per the undertaking given by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents that they will complete the enquiry within one week, this Court directs the official respondents to complete the enquiry within a period of one (1) week from the date of this order. 3/5

Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
