ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for Kodaikanal Municipality submitted that as many as 172 street vendors have been identified and issued with ID cards. The Commissioner, Kodaikanal Municipality has also identified five vending zones. The details are as under :

2.The learned standing counsel for the Kodaikanal Municipality gives an undertaking that those street vendors who are having I.D cards and who are operating in the aforementioned vending zones will not be disturbed.

3.Recording the said submission, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
