ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner, who was arrested on 05.04.2018 for the alleged offences punishable under Section Girl Missing altered into 366 of IPC and Section 4 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012, in Crime No.944 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner and the victim girl had love affair and she eloped with him. He would further submit that the petitioner is innocent and a false case has been foisted against him.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner had kidnapped the victim girl who is aged about 17 years and the victim has been secured.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the period of incarceration of the petitioner and also taking into account the victim has been secured, I am of the view that the petitioner could be enlarged on bail. Accordingly, it is ordered that the petitioner shall be released on bail, on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a likesum to the satisfaction of the learned Mahalir Court Thoothukudi, Thoothukudi District and on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
