ORDER
This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to take necessary steps to settle the entire monetary benefits of the petitioner's father, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 22.04.2019, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard Mr.S.Ayyanar Premkumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.P.Muthupandian, learned Standing Counsel who takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's father worked as conductor in the respondent Corporation and died on 12.03.2012. Subsequently, the petitioner's mother expired on 03.03.2012. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 18.12.2018 to the respondents seeking monetary benefits of his father. Finding no response on the same, he again submitted a representation dated 22.04.2019, which is also pending. Hence, this writ petition.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that the respondents would consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders, on merits, within a time frame to be determined by this Court.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 18.12.2018 and 22.04.2019, and pass necessary orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
