ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to transfer the investigation from the third respondent to second respondent herein in connection with Crime No.5 of 2017, dated 08.12.2017 and to file final report within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit the case has been transferred to CBCID, OCU, Trichy City and that Tmt.A.Densia, Inspector of Police, is nominated as AIO, to assist the Investigating Officer in the investigation of the above case and also produced the copy of the memo issued by the Director General of Police, dated 17.08.2022.

3.The above said memo filed by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. Tmt.A.Densia, Inspector of Police, is present before this Court and seeks six months further time to complete the 3/6

investigation.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) and the Inspector of police, CBCID, OCU, Trichy City is directed to complete the investigation within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition disposed of.
