O R D E R

This petition is filed to direct respondent Police to file the final report in Crime No.218 of 2017 on the file of the respondent Police.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that he gave a complaint for mis-appropriation of huge fund to the tune of Rs.6,51,000/-. Though the case was registered on 25.06.2017, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that there is no further progress in enquiry. It is also stated that the offence of mis-appropriation is proved by material documents and that therefore, the delay in investigation is un-warranted.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions however, submitted that the investigation is in progress and that the Final Report will be filed within a period of six months.

4. Considering the grievance of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to allow the petition with the following direction: "The respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a Final Report in Crime No.218 of 2017, before the jurisdictional Magistrate, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

5. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed with the above direction.
