COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed to direct the respondents 2 and 4 to fill up the existing vacancy to the post of Scavenger, Watchman, Cook and Sweepers on the basis of list of Class-IV of Tamil Nadu Basic Service Section 19, Service Manual Volume-III, 1970, Special Rules for Tamil Nadu Basic Services (G.O.Ms.No.1962, Public (Service-G) 25th June 1971) SRO No.A 613 of 1971 in Government (A.di.Na) Student Hostel, Virudhunagar District, with all consequential benefits from the date of appointment as per the order of this Court dated 01.02.2019 passed in WP(MD).No.25490 to 25494 of 2018, WP(MD).No.142 to 149 of 2019, WP(MD).Nos.24895 to 24900 of 2018, 25114 to 25125 of 2018, 25209 to 25214 of 2018, 194 to 198 of 2019 in accordance with law.

2. At the time of hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that though a larger relief is sought for in these Writ Petitions, it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioners dated 13.03.2019 and 07.03.2019 for which, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that the representations of the petitioners would be considered on merits.

3. In view of the limited relief now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioners, which has been agreed by the learned counsel for the respective respondents, these Writ Petitions

are disposed of directing the respondents 2 to 4 to consider the representations of the petitioners, dated 13.03.2019 and 07.03.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners. No costs.
