PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to cancel the legal heir certificate bearing No.TN7202012191821 dated 29.12.2020 issued by the 2nd respondent to the 3rd respondent incorporating the name of the 3rd respondent while issuing legal heir certificate to the legal heirs of Mr.Vallikkannu father of the petitioner.

The petitioner with a grievance that the name of one Vaithiyalingam has to be deleted from the legal heir certificate issued by the Tahsildar has submitted an application and filed this writ petition for a Mandamus.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the officials respondents submits that the petitioner's representation, dated 31.01.2022 has been forwarded to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pudukottai District on 02.04.2022 by the Tahsildar to delete the particular name from the legal heir certificate. However, the enquiry has not been concluded so far. 3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pudukottai 2/4

District, to take action based on the recommendation of the Tahsildar on the application of this petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
