ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide employment to the petitioner on compassionate ground, by considering his representation, dated 22.04.2019.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 3 and 4. 3.The case of the petitioner is that his father, who was working as a Assistant in the respondent Department, while in service, passed away. Seeking compassionate appointment, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents on 22.04.2019. Since the same has not been considered by the respondents so far, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition. 4.The learned respective counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits.

5.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 22.04.2019 seeking for compassionate appointment and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
