ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed by the petitioner/sole accused in Spl.S.C.No.392 of 2025, on the file of the learned Principal District Court, Tenkasi, wherein the petitioner/sole accused has been charged for the offence under Sections 366(A) of I.P.C r/w Section 8 of Protection of Child From Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

2. Pending trial, the victim girl has got married to another person and she is having a child. Thereafter, the parties have entered into a compromise, wherein the de-facto complainant and the victim girl have agreed for quashing of the charge sheet as against the petitioner/sole accused.

3. Considering the fact that the victim girl is already married to another person and leading a peaceful life and she does not want to prosecute the petitioner herein, this Court is inclined to quash the charge sheet. The de-facto complainant as well as the victim girl who is aged about 20 years old are present before this Court. The husband of the victim girl is also present. 2/4

4. In view of the fact that the parties have entered into compromise for quashing of the charge sheet as against the petitioner, charge sheet in Spl.SC.No. 392 of 2025 on the file of the Principal District Court, Tenkasi is hereby quashed.
