O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to sanction and allow the petitioner to withdraw a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- from and out of the petitioner's own accumulation of Provident Fund contribution.

2. The petitioner is working as a Driver in the respondent Corporation. The petitioner states that he had conducted the marriage of his daughter in January 2022 and borrowed huge amount from the neighbours. In order to settle those amount, he has submitted an application for withdrawal of Provident Fund contribution. However, the respondent has not taken any action. The right of loan under the Provident Fund contribution cannot be denied. The petitioner is claiming his own contribution. Therefore, the respondent is bound to consider the same. W.P.(MD) No.4250 of 2022 petitioner to withdraw the eligible amount from the Provident Fund contribution within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
