PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to issue direction to the 2nd respondent to provide police protection to the petitioners' lives and property against the enemy, Rakku @Rasathi and her husband and their men, taking into account of the petitioners' representation dated 17.03.2015 and subsequent representation dated 24.03.2015. O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed to issue direction to the 2nd respondent to provide police protection to the petitioners' lives and property against the enemy, Rakku @Rasathi and her husband and their men, taking into account of the petitioners' representation dated 17.03.2015 and subsequent representation dated 24.03.2015.

2.The petitioner seeks police protection to his life and limb through a representation dated 24.03.2015. Now, 3 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.

3.In view of the same, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
