ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to promote the petitioner as Deputy Commercial Tax Officer as per panel, dated 01.03.2016 and pass appropriate orders before the retirement of the petitioner viz., on 31.05.2019 by considering her representation, dated 29.05.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3.The grievance of the petitioner is that she made a representation, dated 29.05.2018 to the respondents seeking promotion to the post of Deputy Commercial Tax Officer. However, so far no orders have been passed on the representation of the petitioner. Therefore, she is before this Court, seeking for appropriate direction to the respondents.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered by the respondents, on merits and appropriate orders would be passed.
5.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 29.05.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
