ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to grant promotion to the petitioner based on his seniority and consequently to grant all accrued monetary benefits by considering his representation, dated 28.03.2019 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent. 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that he made a representation, dated 28.03.2019 to the respondent seeking promotion based on his seniority along with all accrued monetary benefits. However, so far no orders have been passed on the representation of the petitioner. Therefore, he is before this Court, seeking for appropriate direction to the respondent.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered by the respondents, on merits and appropriate orders would be passed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.03.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
