ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide employment to the petitioner on compassionate ground, by considering his representation, dated 04.05.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The case of the petitioner is that his father, who was working as a Senior Grade Driver in the respondent Corporation, while in service, passed away. Seeking compassionate appointment, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

04.05.2018. Since the same has not been considered by the respondents so far, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits.

5.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.05.2018 seeking for compassionate appointment and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
