Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order or direction in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents-1 to 6 to forward appropriate complaint to the Respondents-8 & 9 herein for taking necessary penal action as well as other appropriate action as contemplated under the Tamil Nadu recognised private schools regulation Act, 1973 as well as under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act 1973 with regard to the deceitful manner of transaction of the respondents-10 to 13. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by B. PUGALENDHI, J.) This Writ Petition is filed for a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents-1 to 6 to forward the complaint to the Respondents-8 & 9 herein for taking necessary penal action as well as other appropriate action as contemplated under the Tamil Nadu recognised private schools regulation Act, 1973 as well as under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act 1973 with regard to the deceitful manner of transaction of the respondents-10 to 13.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that his grandfather was a member of "Devakottai Nagarathar Sree Meenakshi vidyasalai Paripalana Sangam" and that there are certain irregularities in the said Society which administering several schools and temples in Devakottai.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the association was registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and during 1965 a new Society has been incorporated except with a few cosmetic changes. Hence, the Writ petitioner seeks police investigation as well as investigation by the Registrar of the Societies.

4. In the opinion of this Court, this petitioner appears to be a disgruntled element inasmuch as his membership in this Society was rejected and hence, he has come up with this petition. Hence, this can not be treated as a Public Interest Litigation.

5. In view of the above, the instant Writ Petition is closed with liberty to workout his remedy in accordance with law. No costs.
