ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to grant appropriate permission and adequate police protection 1/4

to conduct the Maha Shivarathri Poojas with the Annadhanam function on 16.02.2026 based on the petitioner's representation dated 09.02.2026 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. The Government Advocate (crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that already one Sangam will conduct Maha Shivarathri Pooja on 15.02.2026. The petitioner is seeking permission to conduct Maha Shivarathri Poojas with the Annadhanam function on 16.02.2026. Therefore, this Court is inclined to grant permission to the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. The petitioner is permitted to conduct the Maha Shivarathri Poojas with the Annadhanam function on 16.02.2026. The 2nd respondent is directed to grant appropriate permission with conditions and adequate police protection. No Costs. 12-02-2026 KSA Note : Issue a copy of order on 13.02.2026 2/4
