PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the fifth respondent to dispose the petitioner's Revision Petition dated 27.11.2018 and consequently, direct the respondents 1 to 6 cancel the patta granted in favour of the respondents 8 and 9 grant patta in favour of the petitioner in survey No.8/2 in an extent of 2.00 acres and 94 cents land respectively situated at Nagayarkottai Village, Vedachandur Taluk, Dindigul District, within the time stipulated fixed by this Court.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petition mentioned revision will be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law by the fifth respondent, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The fifth respondent shall also put all the interested parties on notice. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the fifth respondent to pass orders one way or other. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
