This Criminal Original petition is filed for a direction to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Bodinayakkanur, Theni District, to complete the trial in S.T.C.No.854 of 2015 within the short time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. The petitioner states that he preferred a complaint as against the respondent under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Bodinayakkanur, Theni District, and that the same was pending without any progress. The learned counsel for the petitioner also produced the Diary Extract of the proceedings of the lower Court.

4. It is seen that there is delay in disposal, having regard to the scope of enquiry.

5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the Criminal Original petition is allowed. The learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Bodinayakkanur, Theni District, is directed to complete the trial in S.T.C.No.854 of 2015 and to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible, preferably, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
