O R D E R
This Criminal Original petition is filed for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vedachandoor, Dindigul District, to dispose the criminal case in C.C.No.135 of 2015 within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.
3. The petitioner states that he was working as "Saalai Paniyalar" in Tamil Nadu State Highways Department, in Vedachandur and that on the basis of the complaint given by one Siva, a case was registered against the petitioner. It is further stated that after filing of the Charge Sheet, the case was taken on the file in C.C.No.135 of 2015 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vedachandur, Dindigul District. Stating that the petitioner was suspended in view of the pendency of the criminal case as against the petitioner and that the petitioner is an innocent person, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vedachandur, Dindigul District, to dispose of the criminal case in C.C.No.135 of 2015 within the time stipulated by this Court.

4. Having regard to the peculiar circumstances of the case, and the position that speedy disposal of the criminal case is also a right envisaged under the Constitution, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- " The learned Judicial Magistrate, Vedachandur, Dindigul District, is directed to complete the trial and to dispose of the criminal case in C.C.No.135 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
