O R D E R

The petitioners are the accused Nos. 1 and 2 in Cr.No. 112 of 2016, on the file of the first respondent. A criminal complaint was lodged by the second respondent as against the petitioners in Cr.No.112 of 2016 for the offences under section 147, 341, 294(b) 323 and 506 (i) of of IPC.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.

3.It appears that after the complaint was lodged, the petitioners and the de-facto complainant have settled their disputes amicably and they have also entered into a compromise. The joint https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

compromise memo dated 11.09.2017 signed by the petitioners and the de-facto complainant in the presence of their respective counsels is produced before this Court today. As per the joint compromise memo, the parties have stated that they have entered into compromise at the instance of elders in their family and well-wishers of them and second respondent has no objection to appear before this Court and to state that he has no objection for quashing the complaint in FIR in Cr.No.112 of 2016, on the file of the first respondent Police. 4.The petitioners as well as the second respondent appeared before this Court today and expressed in an unequivocal terms that they have signed the compromise memo out of their own will and volition. The identities of the parties are verified with reference to the authenticated documents produced by the parties concerned before this Court and the identities of the parties are also confirmed by the learned Government Advocate, through the first respondent police.

5.Having regard to the specific terms of the joint compromise memo, this Court is of the view that no purpose will be served in keeping this petition pending. Therefore, in view of the joint compromise memo produced before this Court, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the FIR in Cr.No.112 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent police is hereby quashed in toto. The joint compromise memo produced before this Court shall form part of this order.
