O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent Nos.3 to 8 not to harass the petitioner under the garb of exercising their official powers.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the respective parties.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) would submit that the official respondents are not harassing the petitioner, as alleged. He would further submit that based on the complaint, enquiry was conducted and a case has been registered in Crime No.261 of 2017, against the petitioner and others, for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 323, & 506(i) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002, before the Panagudi Police Station, Tirunelveli.

4. Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
