ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondents to give appointment to the petitioner on compassionate ground, based on the representation dated 06.04.2011, this writ petition has been filed.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

Division, passed away on 11.06.2010, while in service. Seeking compassionate appointment, the petitioner made a representation dated 06.04.2011 to the respondents. Since the same is pending without any consideration till date, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits and appropriate orders be passed. 5.In view of the above submission, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.04.2011, seeking appointment on compassionate ground and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. 6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
