ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. The only request made by the petitioner is that a proper drainage / sewage channel must be constructed in the petition mentioned street. These are matters that have financial implications. This Court therefore will not be justified in issuing any positive direction. But then, the local body is obliged to attend to the needs of the residents. I therefore direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's request and take a decision and also inform the petitioner about the decision taken. This shall be done as expeditiously as possible.
