ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking direction to the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.119 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 341, 447, 324 and 506(2) IPC dated 21.11.2022 on the file of the respondent within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.119 of 2022 against four persons and investigation is pending. Hence, he seeks six months time to file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.119 of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
