This criminal original petition has been filed for quashing the impugned proceedings in D.V.C.No.107 of 2020 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court (Judicial Magistrate Level), Karur. 2.The respondent herein is the complainant.

3.The petitioner's counsel states that the respondent has been habitually absent and is not appearing before the Court below. Her counsel is also not appearing before the Court below. 4.If that be so, the Court below cannot be indefinitely adjourning the case. if, on the next hearing date, neither the respondent nor her counsel appear, the Court below will dismiss D.V.C.No.107 of 2020 for non prosecution.
