This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd Respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.112 of 2016 dated 26.11.2016 and to file the Final Report with appropriate sections.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State submitted that the case in Crime No.112 of 2016 was registered under Section 174 Cr.P.C. and now, the Police have filed the alteration report dated 04.02.2017, altering the offence into one under Section 306 IPC.

take action in accordance with law.
