This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to quash the F.I.R in Crime No.21 of 2021 on the file of the first respondent Page no.1/3

police.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that already they have completed the investigation and filed the final report before the Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam. Based on the final report, the Trial Court has taken cognizance in C.C.No. 310 of 2024 and the same is pending. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Case.

3. Since this petition is filed for quash of F.I.R and the respondent police, after completion of the investigation have filed the final report and the same has been taken cognizance by the Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam, it is for the petitioner to challenge the final report in the manner known to law. As there are some allegations to constitute the offence as per the F.I.R, preserving the liberty of the petitioner to challenge the final report, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected criminal miscellaneous petition is also closed.
