O R D E R

This petition is filed to set aside the order passed by the Additional District Munsif Court cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Manamadurai, in copy application No.283 of 2017, dated 16.08.2017, refusing to furnish the certified copy of certain documents.

2. When the copy application was filed by the accused person to get surrender petition and surety memo, pursuant to anticipatory bail order granted by the learned Sessions Judge, Sivagangai, in Crl.M.P.No.727 of 2016, the said application was turned down by making one line endorsement, "Not granted".

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the documents which are required by the petitioner are essential for further action in the matter and that it is not appropriate on the part of the learned Judicial Magistrate to deny the certified copy.

4. No other valid ground has been pointed out by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) to sustain the order refusing to grant certified copy of certain documents, that are referred to in the petition filed by the petitioner.

In that view of the matter one line order made in the copy application of the petitioner dated 16.08.2017 is set aside and the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Manamadurai is directed to entertain the copy application on file and ensure issuance of the certified copy to the petitioner, as per the copy application, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
