O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed for issuing a direction to the the respondents 2 and 3 not to harass the petitioner and her family members under the guise of enquiry.

2. It is stated that the petitioner's son is wanted as an accused in a case which was registered in Crime No.306 of 2017. However, it is stated by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that under the guise of enquiry, the petitioner who is the mother of the accused is being harassed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), however, submitted on instructions that the petitioner was enquired only in connection with the crime and about the whereabouts of the petitioner's son. He further submitted that there was no https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

complaint as against the petitioner and no further enquiry is contemplated in connection with the offence that is alleged to have been committed by the petitioner's son.

4. In view of the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), the Criminal Original Petition is closed with an observation that the petitioner and her family members need not be harassed in connection with the crime alleged to have been committed by the petitioner's son. However, if the petitioner's appearance is required for any enquiry, it shall be done only after issuing summons prescribing date and time and in the manner prescribed in law.
