ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to provide effective police protection for erection of transmission cell phone tower and to install the telecommunication electrical and electronics equipments, OFC cable and T.S.No.1563, Ward No.5, Block No.42, Periya Arisikara Street, Keelavasal, Thanjavur District.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner seeks protection from certain local residents for erecting cell phone tower in a private land, which he obtains for lease for the said purpose.

protection would be given.

She also submitted that the representation / complaint preferred by the petitioner is pending with the respondent police.

5.In view of the above, the respondent police is now directed to cause such necessary enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner and take such appropriate decision as may be necessary to secure the rights, if any, of the petitioner.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
