ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/ accused with not known apprehends arrest at the hands of the Subramaniapuram Police Station, Madurai City for the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC in Crime No.130 of 2017, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl Side) appearing for the respondent.

3.The first accused in this case had sold the vehicle in question in favour of the defacto complainant, who is none other than his own brother in law. When the car was taken for renewal of the vehicle insurance, it came to be noticed that the engine number as well as chassis number belonged to some other car. The first accused has since been granted bail. The role attributed to the petitioner is that he facilitated the transaction. 4.The learned Government Advocate would submit that there is no previous case registered against the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Considering the facts of this case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Madurai and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

6.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy is made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
