ORDER

The petitioner wants enforcement of a decision taken in a peace committee meeting. Such meetings are convened only to amicably resolve an issue. They do not have any statutory force as such. Hence, the authorities are not competent to enforce the decision taken in a peace committee meeting. Therefore, I hold that this writ petition is not maintainable.

2.Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to request the authorities to invoke their power.
