O R D E R

The petitioner is the Union Secretary, Kadaladi Union of political party known as Naam Tamilar Party. The petitioner wants to conduct a public meeting on 08.03.2020 at Mookayur Vilakku Road. The petitioner's request was negatived by the second respondent herein vide order dated 22.02.2020. The same is under challenge in this Writ Petition.

2. I went through the contents of the impugned order. It is in a stereo typed format. The petitioner states that the meeting will be conducted in such a manner so as not to disturb the public order.

3.The second respondent herein is directed to issue proceedings permitting the petitioner to hold the meeting on 08.03.2020 from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm. The second respondent will incorporate appropriate conditions covering all aspects. The petitioner gives an undertaking that the conditions to be imposed by the second respondent will be scrupulously complied with. If the petitioner breaches the same, it is open to the second respondent to move this Court for contempt of Courts.

4.Subject to these conditions, the impugned order dated 22.02.2020 passed by the second respondent is quashed and this Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
