ORDER

This writ petition has been filed directing the respondents to remove the petitioner's name and close the history sheet in H.S No.132 of 2023 maintaining by the 3rd respondent police by following the guide liness issued in the decisions in Sabari @ Sabarigir Vs. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Annanagar (L & O ) Range, Madurai City, Madurai and others reported in 2018 4 MLJ (Crl.) 585 and Thirumagan Vs. The Superintendent of Police, Madurai District reported in 2020 (2) LW (Crl.) 266 within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2026.

2. This Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2026 and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

3. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
