PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation on 03.06.2020. O RDER This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to act upon the representation/complaint given by the petitioner and to take action against the third respondent in accordance with the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the first and second respondents, on instructions, submitted that there was some delay in tracing the file, since the complaint was given during Covid-19 pandemic period. He further submitted that orders will be passed on the representation of the petitioner by the second respondent within the time frame fixed by this Court.

3.Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to pass final orders on the representations of the petitioner dated 03.06.2020 and 22.10.2020 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner and the third respondent. 2/4

4.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
