COMMON PRAYER :- Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to issue appropriate direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate protection to the petitioner to continue the fishery activities in pursuance of the lease agreement entered with the F.P.6, Taluk Inland Fisherman Society, Thirumayam, for Thamarai, Vengai, Kanakkan Kanmoi by considering the petitioners' representation dated 20.02.2022.

For Petitioners : Mr.P.Ganapathi Subramanian For Respondents : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, R1,R2 Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side).

COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions are filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate protection to the petitioner to continue the fishery activities in pursuance of the lease agreement entered with the F.P.6, Taluk Inland Fisherman Society, Thirumayam, for Thamarai, Vengai, Kanakkan Kanmoi by considering the petitioners' representation dated 20.02.2022. 2.All the petitions filed for seeking police protection to continue their fishing activity, in pursuant to the lease agreement entered between the petitioners and the Fishermen Society. However, the counter parties are objecting their fishing activity and prevented the petitioners to do fishing activity. In this regard, the petitioners lodged complaint and it is pending, on the file of the second respondent.

3.Therefore, in view of the above, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry, on the complaint lodged by the petitioners, after issuing notice to the petitioners and counter parties and pass appropriate orders, on merits in accordance with law, within two weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above directions, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
