Petitioner/Accused No.2 -vsState represented by The Inspector of Police, Sethubavachatram Police Station, Thanjavur District (Crime No.44 of 2023) ... Respondent/Complainant PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 438 of Cr.P.C, praying to enlarge the petitioners on bail in the event of his arrest in Crime No.44 of 2023.

For Petitioner : Mr.B.Anandan, Advocate For Respondent : Mr.K.Sanjai Gandhi Government Advocate (Crl.side)

O R D E R

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that the petitioner is a habitual offender against whom 3 previous cases have been pending and he is arrayed as the second accused in this case. He would strongly oppose for grant of anticipatory bail.

2. Taking into consideration the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, this petition is dismissed. sd/- 24/02/2023 / TRUE COPY / /03/2023 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.) Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai - 625 023.
