ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the official respondents not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the respective parties.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) would submit that the official respondents are not harassing the petitioners, as alleged. He would further submit that based on the complaint, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

enquiry was conducted and a case has been registered in Crime No.287 of 2017, against the petitioners and others, for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b) & 506(ii) IPC; Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002 and Section 3 of Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage & Loss) Act, 1992, before the Valliyoor Police Station, Tirunelveli.

4. In view of the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
