He was arrested by the respondent police and remanded to judicial custody on 27.02.2018. 2.The name of the petitioner is very much figuring in the FIR, that was registered at the instance of one Kanagaraj, who is the brother of the deceased Ambalraj. From a reading of the FIR, it can be seen that one Paulraj, another brother of the de-facto complainant was murdered in the year 2001 and that case is still pending. It appears that there is a land dispute between the family of A1 and the family of the deceased. Since the deceased family have refused to part with the land in question, the murder of Paulraj had taken place. In the FIR, it is specifically mentioned that A1 and others including the petitioner also threatened the deceased Ambalraj.
