Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the compensation to the petitioner for the land measuring in survey number 314/7 and 314/5 with an extent of 1914 sq.ft of House site bearing Plot NO.5 in Annai Sivakami Nagar in Perungudi Village, Madurai District on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 01.04.2019.

O R D E R

The prayer in this writ petition is for a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the compensation to the petitioner for the land measuring in survey number 314/7 and 314/5 with an extent of 1914 sq.ft of House site bearing Plot NO.5 in Annai Sivakami Nagar in Perungudi Village, Madurai District on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 01.04.2019. 2.Heard Mr.K.Manikandan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that, for the lands acquired by the respondent department, they are ready with the award passed and therefore, if the petitioner appears before the respondents office, the award will be given to the petitioner.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on receipt of the same, wants to workout his remedy, in case of any enhancement is required.

5.Be that as it may, now the award is ready in the office of the respondents. It is for the petitioner to get the same and if at all he has got any grievance with regard to the quantum of award, the petitioner can workout his remedy in the manner known to law.

6.Recording these developments, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
