2.The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the respondents to grant permission and police protection to conduct Kumbabhisekam of Arulmigu Sri Selva Vinayagar Temple at Melamarungur Village, Kalayarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District, on 01.04.2021 and 02.04.2021.

3.Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's representation is posted for enquiry. 4.In the facts and circumstances, the District Collector, Sivagangai District, is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner, based on merits and on findings and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
