PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS directing the 1st Respondent to issue proceeding to the Petitioner college recognizing its change of address to its new campus situated at Pudukkottai Main Road, Mathur, Pudhukottai and consequently direct the 3rd Respondent to grant continuance of provisional registration affiliation for the academic years 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26 by 1/5

considering the representations given by the Petitioner dated 08/07/2024 and 25/10/2025.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the first respondent to issue proceedings to the petitioner's College recognising their change of address to their new campus at Pudukkottai.

2. The petitioner has further prayed for a mandamus as against the 3rd respondent to continue the provisional affiliation for the academic year 2023-2024, 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 by considering their representations dated 08.07.2024 and 25.10.2025.

3. The petitioner started the institution at Tiruchirapalli in the year 2002 and they have shifted the institution to Pudukkottai address in the year 2008. By way of an application dated 06.10.2009, the petitioner has requested the first respondent to recognise the change of address to Pudukottai. So far the said request has not been considered.

4. The petitioner has got affiliation from the Indian Nursing Council from the year 2002 onwards upto 2025-2026. However, the affiliation of the 3rd respondent has not been extended beyond 2022-2023. In view of the fact that the address change has not been accepted by the first respondent.

In view of the above said facts, the first respondent is directed to consider the request of the petitioner dated 06.10.2009 relating to change of address and pass orders within a period of 4(four) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Depending upon the orders to be passed by the first respondent, the 3rd respondent is directed to pass orders considering the affiliation granted by the Indian Nursing Council within a period of 8(eight) weeks from the date of the order to be passed by the first respondent.

6. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
