Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 08.04.2019 in the light of the information furnished by the second respondent office in A.No.859/19 dated 17.07.2019 and Appeal No.14/2019 dated 26.08.2019 confirming receipt of representation dated 27.11.1997 for appointment on compassionate ground, within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. 2.The issue involved in the present writ petition is that the writ petitioner's father, while working as Line Inspector under the third respondent, died on 04.09.1997. On 27.11.1997, the petitioner's mother made a request seeking for appointment on compassionate ground. W.P.(MD) No.4598 of 2020 circumstances, the petitioner herein has made another representation on 08.04.2019 seeking for employment for himself on compassionate ground. In view of the non-consideration of the representation, the present writ petition has been filed.
3.Today, when the matter was called, Mr.T.Sakthikumaran, the learned Standing counsel for the respondent corporation submitted that they intend to consider the petitioner's request for compassionate appointment favourably.
4.Recording the submission made by the learned Standing counsel for the respondents, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.04.2019 and pass favourable orders granting appointment to the petitioner herein, at least, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
